Pictured above are mending plates in O, HO and N size which fit on the bottom of each shelf.  Mending plates are used to help line up pieces of ShelfTrax when joining them end-to-end.  The plates simply attach with 4 screws.

Simply locate your wall studs and transfer these markings to your ShelfTrax.  Drill the appropriate holes with a 5/32nd drill bit and you are ready to mount your ShelfTrax securely to your wall studs with the screws provided.

Here pictured is a 2' long piece of O gauge ShelfTrax with 25lbs on it.  You will note there is no separation from the wall as long as your screws are tight.  Longer pieces of ShelfTrax are even stronger!  ShelfTrax is capable of supporting more weight but you will not find many die cast O gauge engines heavier than 25lbs.

End stops prevent damage to your collection.

Custom Stain 009.JPG

If you are in need of a different look to match your decor,  ShelfTrax can be custom stained.

White ShelfTrax is available in HO and N scale by custom order.  The finished applied is sprayed to look smooth and is very durable.  Call or email for availability and pricing.

Here is a short video to show you how simple it is to drill holes in ShelfTrax. Just make sure to keep your holes to the top.
